Due to the lack of Pam, I've been spit balling a few questions and theories, most of them a mashup of book and teevee canon. The thing I want to know most about Pam is what made Eric choose her. What did he see in her that appealed to him? Did he see something in her that reflected aspects of his own personality or human life? Does she remind him of his mother? His sister? His wife? Were there nobler intentions than 'rescuing her' from a life of prostitution or, in the book verse, life of boredom and privilege? This got me to wondering what everyone else had knocking around in their brains.

So, like Linda Richmond on Coffee Tawk, discuss.

*Mods: does this need a new tag?
